Tarpon Fishing
From April until August fishermen come from all over the world in pursuit of the tarpon.  During May and June, the tarpon run heats up, and you can see these beauties in their feeding frenzy from the shore.  Affectionately known as the Silver King... the tarpon have long been a favorite among game fishermen.  The running of these mammoth silver fish is a site to behold.  As the waters churn with their frenzy, the fishing in our waters ramps up.   Boca Grande Pass which offers the best tarpon fishing in the world is just a few short miles from here.

Shallow Water, Bay Fishing
redfish
The shallow waters of Lemon Bay team with redfish and snook.  The beautiful shallows provide a peaceful and fruitful fishing experience.
Nearshore Fishing
Florida is known for its grouper and snapper, but many are not aware that other tasty fish like flounder, tripletail, sheepshead, triggerfish and plenty of others are easily caught in our nearshore estuaries.
